GLAMA 2018 in Allegan, Michigan is now history with perfect weather for three days and a soggy ending the last day.  We shared many good times and laughs with our members and enjoyed the seminars and evening entertainment each night.  Those attending from Northern Lights were:  Aller, Bates, Bearse, Bird, Bourgeous, Chubb, Dingman, Hollister, Ikens, Kloha/Park, O’Bee, Ostyn, Payne, Rose, Ruth, Rypma, Sheren, Wierman and Garcia.
 
We were joined by three new members, Paul and Aneita Zoutendam from Holland, Ed and MarySue House from Grand Rapids and Teri and Mary Cline from Bath who came to our Chapter Fair booth.  This is in addition to Dave and Mary Ann Verstraete from Grandville, James and Patricia Milroth from St. Clair Shores and Doug and Diana Curtis from Gennie, Michigan who have joined since last Fall.  Welcome new members!
 
We had almost 400 coaches attending this year with our group arriving early to volunteer.  We provided help with monitoring the seminars, directing traffic, registration and running the transportation carts.  It’s always more fun when we help others!
 
There has been lots of interest in the upcoming Lake Linden rally in copper country in July and is now almost sold out.  Check with Ed Bearse for a site if you haven’t already. And by the way, Ed and Anne arrived in a new and bigger coach – congrats to them!!
 
Traverse City will be the site of the August rally and it looks to be very popular!  The  Grand Rapids rally follows in September with another well planned agenda.  Please check the web site for details under Upcoming Rallies!
